Task Manager leverages our existing User Role Management feature to effectively define the roles and permissions required by different users within the system. This integration allows you to establish granular control over user access and actions within Task Manager. With the first release of Task Manager, we have implemented a set of basic permissions that align with the specific functionalities and workflows associated with the platform.
These permissions encompass various aspects, including the ability to create, update, delete, and view different Ticket Types, such as Standalone and TV Show tickets. Users with appropriate permissions can also update the statuses of tickets, ensuring accurate tracking and progress monitoring. Additionally, users are granted access to Task Manager Tabs, enabling them to navigate through the relevant sections seamlessly.
By utilizing User Roles and Permissions, Task Manager ensures that user groups and individuals have the appropriate level of access and authority to perform their designated tasks. This flexible and configurable approach enables us to align Task Manager functionalities with the unique requirements of different roles and user groups, promoting effective governance and collaboration within the system.
